Two sections of the South Downs Way in West Sussex will be repaired during March.

A 600m section between Jack & Jill Windmills and Ditchling Beacon is to be resurfaced with new chalk. This section will be closed during the works which are expected to take all of March. A diversion will be in place through New Barn Farm and rejoining the SDW just west of Keymer Post. The diversion is shown on this site and will be marked on the ground. The diversion uses Public Bridleways and will be open to walkers, cyclists and horse-riders.

The second section is a small reapir to a deep gully that has formed just west of the A23 in pyecombe. Work will take place on a 100m stretch of track next to Brendon Riding School. The route will remain open during this work, but please take extra care.
